Our client is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to join their team. The Clinical Supervisor will provide clinical supervision of assigned staff, provides client care, and manages the planning, development, and coordination of the Family Centered Treatment Program. Family Centered Treatment® (FCT) is an evidenced based home-based trauma treatment model working with children and families within a family home or in a community setting. It is important to note that this position will supervise staff in Omaha and Lincoln, travel between the two locations will be required.

 

Job Duties

  • Provide clinical supervision per program guidelines and certification requirements to staff.
  • Monitor staff caseloads and provide teaching/coaching, ensuring productivity and fidelity standards.
  • Establish development/education plans with assigned staff and ensure implementation.
  • Facilitate recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of program staff and/or practicum students.
  • Provide direct client care based on program guidelines and need.
  • The FCT Supervisor will complete all relevant training and make consistent progress toward achieving the FCT Supervisor Certification from Family Centered Treatment Foundation (FCTF).  In addition to online-based training and required readings, the certification process requires videotaped demonstration of competencies in supervising FCT workers. 
  • Once certified, the FCT Supervisor will complete all activities necessary to maintain certification from FCTF. 
  • Face-to-Face supervisions occur weekly at team meetings. Individual staffing with each clinician occurs at least once every other week. 
  • In consult with the Master Trainer, the FCT Supervisor oversees the training and certification process for the FCT workers on their team. 
  • Ensure model fidelity, compliance with regulations, and implementation of best practices.
  • Develop and maintain program plans, procedures, and logic models.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Billing, and Development teams for program fiscal sustainability.
  • Participate in program marketing activities.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with program partners and stakeholders.
  • Attend local, regional, and statewide staff meetings for supervision and program planning.
  • Maintain accurate, written clinical records of services provided per established agency, COA, HIPAA, and CCBHC standards. Complete documentation within established timeframes per program plan, including collecting signatures, forms, sign-off, discharge, etc.
  • Develop a positive relationship with area agencies, including but not limited to, County Boards of Mental Health, Probation, Diversion, State Criminal Justice System, and DHHS.
  • Assist in the promotion of agency mission, services, workshops, and classes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to document concurrently using electronic software or willingness to learn.
  • Participate in peer review, clinical supervision, continuous improvement activities, etc.
  • Regular and predictable attendance, and promptness for work.

Education and Experience

  • Master’s degree in the Human Service field from an accredited college required.
  • Licensed to practice mental health in Nebraska (LMHP or LIMHP) is required.
  • LADC is required for Substance Use Program positions but preferred for all positions.
  • Two years of behavioral health experience.  
  • Two years’ experience providing clinical training, supervision, and program development preferred.
  • FCT Supervisor must be able to become certified or be actively enrolled in certification training in FCT upon hire.
  • Knowledge of best practice standards for the treatment of traumatized persons and groups.
  • Knowledge of program development and building relationships in the service community.
  • Valid driver’s license, proof of liability insurance, and ability to drive for agency business.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Hybrid work environment with a laptop (office and field setting, including zoom/telehealth, office locations, and/or in-home).
  • Travel to various office locations to support client services, as needed by region.
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, or on-call or as needed for client care, program demand, and supervisor request.
  • Occasional lifting of office items no more than 25 pounds.
