This role will assist in evaluating, designing, and administering compensation programs that align with Orions business objectives and industry best practices. The ideal candidate will analyze salary data, conduct job evaluations, ensure compliance with compensation regulations, and support the development and administration of compensation policies. Additionally, this role plays a key part in enhancing employee satisfaction and retention through fair and competitive compensation strategies. Strong analytical abilities, knowledge of compensation principles, and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this position. In this role, you'll get to:
- Review existing and proposed compensation regulations to ensure compliance and provide recommendations on appropriate actions
- Conduct analytical assignments related to the development, implementation and administration of compensation programs, recommending solutions to address compensation-related challenges
- Support benchmarking efforts by participating in industry surveys, analyzing market data, and assessing the competitiveness of Orions total compensation programs. This may involve data mining, gathering insights on hard-to-benchmark roles, and presenting findings
- Analyze, evaluate, and classify new and existing positions, leveraging data to support compensation recommendations
- Review proposed salary adjustments to ensure alignment with established guidelines, policies, and compensation structures
- Assist in the administration of annual merit and bonus processes, ensuring data accuracy, supporting system functions, and responding to user inquiries and reporting needs
- Contribute to the design and delivery of compensation-related training and education programs for managers and team members
- Support the analysis and development of variable compensation programs to align with business objectives and market trends

- Has ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Is highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a team
- Has strong interest in process management, data analysis, and decision-making, with an openness to developing cultural awareness
- Is a proactive self-starter with a growing foundation in project management, capable of supporting multiple projects, tracking progress, and meeting key milestones in a dynamic environment
- Has ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment using strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Has proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with a willing ness to enhance technical skills
- Has effective written, verbal, and active listening skills to support clear and professional communication
- Has a minimum of 2 years of experience in compensation
- Has a minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in an analytical position (i.e. compensation professional, financial analyst, etc.)
- Has Certified Compensation Professional certification from World at Work
- Obtains Orion Industry Certification
- Owns and manages relationships with stakeholders directly and works effectively with people at all levels in an organization

Salary Range:
$67,262.00 - $100,159.00
The pay listed in this posting indicates the estimated pay at the time of this posting; however, may vary depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
