The Human Resource Generalist builds relationships with candidates and staff while focusing on the objective to recruit new employees and train current staff. The HR Generalist works with hiring managers to research, develop and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates for positions at Catholic Mutual Group. The HR Generalist is responsible for identifying, implementing and conducting employee learning, training, and development. Provides backup for high level HR functions.
A bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field, or equivalent work experience is required. At least five years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process and of providing and coordinating employee training is required. Must possess excellent verbal/written/interpersonal communication skills and strong organizational and time management skills. Must take the initiative to research, resolve and respond to issues in a timely manner. Requires ability to make decisions using sound judgment. Attention to detail is essential.
