LIQUOR CLERK (PT) Scottsbluff Wine & Spirits

SUMMARY:

We are seeking a friendly, responsible, and customer-focused Liquor Clerk to join our team at Scottsbluff Wine & Spirits in Scottsbluff, Nebraska.  As a clerk, you will play a key role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers by providing excellent service, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the store remains clean and organized. We are looking to fill a part-time position to cover the evening and weekend shift.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to: 

Customer Service: Greeting customers, providing assistance, and point-of-sale proceedures.

Inventory and Stocking:  Restock shelves, assist with receiving deliveries and ensuring accurate inventory counts,

Store Maintenance:  Keeping the store clean and organized and ensure the checkout area is clean, tidy, and well maintained.  

Compliance:  Adhere to all liquor laws and store policies as well as following cash handling proceedures.  

QUALIFICATIONS:  

Must be at least 19 years old
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle cash transactions and operate a point-of-sale system.
Basic knowledge of alcohol products is preferred or a willingness to learn.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
