SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Entry-level professional positions begin at this level. Education requirements are very specific. Decision-making skills and problem-solving capabilities are critical.
Compensation: between $19.74 and $23.54 per hour (wage is determined by total years of relevant experience)
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week (one late evening and off early on Friday)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or Human Service field or working on degree
- Two years direct care experience in Human Services or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license/acceptable driving record
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Available for emergency situations during work hours.
- Assist Assistant Program Director with compiling monthly program statistical data.
- Assist with training and presentations conducted in the community.
- Attend required and appropriate staff and community meetings.
- Provide criminal justice outreach and advocacy to community members and shelter clients when necessary.
- Provide case management and crisis intervention for domestic violence/sexual assault survivors.
- Assist with facilitation of Support Group (Voices Without Violence)
- Demonstrate a high degree of crisis intervention skills while working with a caseload of a wide range of difficulty.
- Display a courteous and caring attitude at all times to the clientele, volunteers, and visitors of the Agency.
- Cooperates and collaborates with program area staff, volunteers, and other Agency staff.
- Dependable and punctual regarding scheduling and attendance.
- Abide by all specific program and Agency procedures, policies, and requirements.
- Develop personal and program related skills through participation in internal and external training opportunities including printed material and audio and/or visual media.
- Create, maintain and share as appropriate a dynamic self-care plan.
- Strive to make connections between the agency and the larger community whenever possible in order to contribute to the agency’s ongoing fundraising and friend-raising efforts.
- Essential functions of this job are to be performed on company physical work site.
- Perform other program related duties as assigned.
