Overview:

Healthcare billing in a fast-paced department. Primary responsibility is Patient Account Associate for hospital & professional billing of patient claims, AR follow-up and collections. Business Office duties; assist customers, medical liens, collections and bankruptcies.

Shifts:

40 hours/week.  Monday – Friday (8:30 - 5pm).

Qualifications

Knowledge of CMS Regulations, Medicaid, healthcare billing and insurance a definite plus. Successful candidate must be: dependable with self-initiation skills, strong customer service with written and verbal communication skills. Strong computer skills with proficiency in Word, Excel and Internet. High school graduate with courses in business and accounting. College courses, Revenue Cycle Certification and/or Associate Degree, a plus.
