This position is focused on growing our market share and brand by generating qualified prospective opportunities utilizing various contact methods and multi-channel marketing tools. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with a mechanical aptitude, a basic understanding of the sales process, and the ability to design and distribute marketing materials. This position is based in our Omaha office but requires some overnight travel to visit customers and prospects or attend conferences and trade shows as needed.
Primary Responsibilities
• Create and implement lead generation strategies to target, attract, and engage potential leads.
• Understanding different marketing channels and strategies to attract leads.
• Connect with prospective leads in various ways to build relationships and start the sales process.
• Qualify leads based on their interest, budget, and that are a good fit for our company.
• Utilizing our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software to track and manage leads, monitor their progress, and provide support as needed.
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads.
• Continuously work to improve the lead generation processes and techniques.
• Assists Customer Service as needed.
• Travel as needed.
Other Skills and Abilities
• Previous sales or lead generation experience (preferred but not required)
• Mechanical aptitude (helpful but not required as long as you are willing to learn)
• Problem-solving and good communication skills
• Capability to multi-task
• Able to work as a team player or independently with little supervision
• Experience with computers and software applications (MS Office applications experience is preferred)
• Some experience in graphic design using Adobe Creative Suite or other design applications
• A valid driver’s license.
Education
• High School or GED - Required. (some college or a college degree is preferred)
