Job Summary

We are seeking an Operations Insight Analyst who will be a key partner to senior operations leaders, providing actionable data insights to drive strategic decision-making. Focusing on translating complex operational data into clear, visual, and impactful reports and dashboards. This analyst will collaborate closely with leaders to understand their business challenges, identify key performance indicators (KPIs), and develop data-driven solutions to optimize staffing models, resource management, productivity, and performance management. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, business acumen, and the ability to communicate complex data effectively to non-technical audiences.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards that visually represent KPIs related to staffing, resource management, productivity, and performance.
  • Generate ad-hoc reports and analysis to address specific business questions and support strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity through rigorous data validation, quality control processes, and adherence to industry standards and data governance policies.
  • Perform trend analysis and forecasting to anticipate future operational needs and challenges.
  • Apply tools such as SQL, Excel (advanced), PowerBI, and other data analysis platforms to extract, transform, and analyze data dispersed across multiple systems and raw data tables.

Strategic Partnership and Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and ensure alignment on data definitions and metrics.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations and insights to support decision-making related to staffing models, resource allocation, and performance management.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on operational data and provide training and support to leaders on how to interpret and utilize data effectively.

Performance Management and Accountability:

  • Develop and monitor performance metrics to track progress against operational goals and objectives.
  • Identify areas of underperformance and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Create reports that foster accountability within the operations teams.

Business Understanding and Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency through data analysis.

Education Requirements

  • 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree inBusiness, Economics, Data Science, or related disciplines

Years of Experience

  • 10 + years of experience, Working as a data analyst, business intelligence analyst, or similar role within a business unit, preferably in the financial services or lending industry.
