POSITION SUMMARY:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Perform analysis, evaluations and systematic studies to correct problems or complete projects identified by the Engineering Supervisor.
• Act independently in detailed investigations using problem solving skills such as math abilities, data collection techniques, inquiries and software to propose solutions to problems.
• Present arguments for solutions to issues utilizing written and verbal communication, cost analysis, effective logic and proper documentation.
• Satisfactorily complete engineering projects in a cost effective and timely manner utilizing project development and management skills.
• Regular attendance and timeliness in reporting to work, meetings and completing assignments.
• Ability to work and interact well with others.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

• Identify problems and develop solutions to solve those problems.
• Set realistic goals and workload levels according to ones abilities to accomplish assignments in a timely manner.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Minimum two year technical degree at an accredited institution

Experience: None Required

Required Skills: Ability to function in CAD software

PC Skills including Word, Excel and Outlook

Knowledge on how to function safely around industrial equipment

Preferred Skills: 3D AutoCAD software

Familiarity with Oracle systems

Knowledge of PLC functions, welding concepts, metal forming logic and cycle time studies

SPECIAL DEMANDS

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Conduct meetings with various management levels in attendance
