Position Highlights:
Nebraska Medicine is now taking applications for a talented individual to join us as a Pharmacist Specialist for our Emergency Medicine Pharmacy Team in our Inpatient Pharmacy. This role will be great for someone that possesses a desire for a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, customer service, and desires a fulfilling career in Pharmacy. This specific position will work from both the main medical campus in Omaha, NE and the Bellevue Medical Center campus in Bellevue, NE.
We seek a flexible Pharmacist with Emergency Medicine PGY2 residency training. The staff within the Pharmacy Department at Nebraska Medicine play an integral part of healing and serving our patients. The team partners with our physicians, nurses, and other hospital staff to provide the best Serious Medicine and Extra Ordinary Care available in the region.
The primary work location for this position will be in the Bellevue Medical Center Emergency Room.
The ideal candidate will have completed an emergency medicine PGY2 residency. You must already be a licensed pharmacist in the State of Nebraska. This role will be perfect for someone that that is flexible and passionate about emergency medicine.
The role will have the following primary responsibilities, which may vary slightly depending on the shift covered. It is expected that one proactively maintains patient profiles, including monitoring and drug optimization recommendations. Additionally, there are opportunities for teaching and precepting.

Required Qualifications:
* Graduate of an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited Doctor of Pharmacy degree program OR possess a Bachelor or Master of pharmacy degree with 10 years of experience required.
* Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the State of Nebraska or jurisdiction in which pharmacy practice is conducted required.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program, as deemed appropriate for patient facing roles and relevant to practice.
Preferred Qualifications:
* American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited postgraduate year one residency preferred.
* Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties (BPS) certification as deemed appropriate and relevant to practice preferred.
