Position Summary | A postdoctoral position is available to study alcohol-induced alterations insynaptic structure and function, auditory processing, and behavior in prenatal exposure models of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD). We are currently using several approaches including multiphoton in vivo imaging, auditory measurements, behavioral methods and electrophysiology to study this question. Candidates should have a good publication record and Ph.D. in neuroscience. Experience with neuroanatomy, advanced microscopy, mouse behavior and electrophysiology are desired. Other requirements include strong laboratory, analytical, and organizational skills; strong verbal and written communication skills; and the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team. The Division of Developmental and Degenerative Neuroscience in the Department of Neurological Sciences provides a vibrant research community with access to world- class facilities.
