Position Summary
Manage the Intake/Schedulers and assists with overseeing the specialty service billing operations within to ensure the maximization of departmental and Institute clinical service revenue.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Required Education: Bachelor's degree

Business Administration, Health Information Management, or related health field.
Required Experience 2 years

Required Computer Applications: Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook

Required Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1. Knowledge of scheduling health care services. Ability to utilize clinical scheduling software.

2. Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to work independently and to prioritize workload and set deadlines.

3. Strong communication skills necessary. Must be able to interface in a professional manner with individuals at all levels.

4. Strong customer focus skills essential. Ability to communicate with people in a supportive capacity, and must be able to identify & triage health care needs.

5. Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and Third Party Insurance billing protocols and preauthorization guidelines.

6. Familiarity with medical billing such as CPT, HCPCS, ICD10 coding. Ability to handle confidential matters discreetly.
