Local Team Collaboration:

• Long Beach Memorial Medical Center is a 420-bed non-profit teaching hospital that has been recognized as a major regional provider of medical and surgical services by US News and World Report.
• 15-bed CVICU & 32-bed Med/Surg ICU
• During the day service, the Intensivist will provide care in the CVICU
• Night service is a teaching service with IM residents and a Hospitalist Physician who is comfortable with ICU management and procedures
• EMR: Cerner with Dragon for dictation

Qualifications:

• Board-certified or board-eligible critical care physicians (MD or DO).
• A commitment to excellence in clinical service, with strong problem-solving abilities essential for the ICU setting.
• Active California medical license preferred

Scheduling:

• 7 on 7 off schedule with one week of days and one week of nights each month

Key Responsibilities:

• We care for medical and cardiac ICU patients. We see diverse cases and high acuity.
