Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner

A reputable acute care hospital located East of Kalamazoo, MI has a job opening for an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join their Express Care team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider to work in a fast-paced urgent care environment, providing high-quality patient care alongside a supportive medical team.

Position Details:

• Hospital-employed position, .90 FTE (1,872 hours per year).
• Join a team of 7 providers
• Rotating shifts at three Express Care locations, all open 365 days a year from 8 AM ? 8 PM.
• 12 hour shifts
• Expected workload is approximately 13 shifts per month, with opportunities for additional shifts to cover PTO, CME, and absences.
• Work alongside a Medical Assistant, front desk staff, and other support personnel within a primary care setting.
• Electronic Medical Record system: Athena.

Candidate Requirements:

• Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner Certification
• At least one year of experience in an urgent care, express care, or primary care setting.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
