Active Home Health, Hospice & Personal Care is looking for fun loving, compassionate caregivers to assist our clients in the comfort of their homes, allowing them to age in place. We are looking for someone who is caring, professional, and self-motivated to join our team. Active Home Health, Hospice & Personal Care offers excellent pay, health insurance benefits and flexible hours. Base pay starting at $16-$19 per hour + shift differentials and mileage reimbursement. Pay is based upon experience and training.
Job Responsibilities: An Active Personal Care Aaid must be able to help the client with the following tasks:
Toileting/Incontinence Care: Assist clients to the restroom, changing briefs, emptyingcatheter bags, and stoma bag maintenance as needed.
Recovery Support: Provide specialized care for clients recovering from surgery, hospital stays, or cancer treatments, ensuring comfort during recovery.
Transportation Services: Safely transport clients to appointments, errands, and social outings.
Bathing/Dressing: Assist clients with bathing and dressing
Hygiene Needs: Assist client with oral care or brushing teeth and cleaning dentures Feeding/Meal Support: Feeding and or Prepare nutritious meals according to clients' dietary needs.
Companionship: Engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities to enhance their well-being.
Safe Transfers & Mobility Assistance: Assist clients with safe transfers throughout their home or vehicle and mobility support.
Dementia/Alzheimer's Care: Deliver specialized care for clients with Dementia or Alzheimer's to ensure safety.
Light Housekeeping: Help maintain a clean environment through light tasks like laundry, dishes, vacuuming and dusting.
Medication Reminders: Prompt clients to take medications as scheduled.
Job Requirements:
Current driver's license, auto insurance, reliable transportation with the ability to drive in snow and other inclement weather conditions
Comfortable driving to multiple clients homes daily throughout all of county and surrounding areas
Proficient at taking detailed notes, reading information, and identify needs
Authorized to work in the U.S
Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
Negative TB test
Must be at least 18 years old.
Experience in caregiving, home health or related field preferred
Experience in dementia/Alzheimer's care is a plus
Patience, empathy, and a commitment to helping others
